She's in Guatemala!

Morgan made it! She emailed us this afternoon and is so happy. She said her hair is so curly from the humidity she looks like a lion. Her companion is a gal we met in the airport - Hermana Newman. Fun for us to have met her already! She said the food is interesting but the juice is amazing and the fruit, she just said, "Ahhh"! It is good to know she is there and tucked in all safe and sound in the MTC. They got to walk to the Temple and to the Distribution Center. She said it is beautiful. She said they told her to tell us she had learned some spanish words today in training meetings so she said, "I learned some Spanish words, if thats what you call it!" There are 10 Elders and 2 Sisters in her district. She said she was very happy and happy to be emailing us. She got a letter TODAY in the mail here that she was being considered for JURY DUTY.  I guess she has a pretty good excuse to not do that this time around.  

She is off!!!

Well Hermana Oliphant is off!  She is in flight to LAX where she will catch a flight at 12:01 am to Guatemala. There were lots of missionaries at the airport all going to the Guatemala MTC.  And there will be about 40 of them total after the LAX stop.  We found one gal going to the City, Central mission.  There was another that came from Idaho that was probably at the gate already.  She was excited to meet up with her!  They have chatted on Facebook already.

What a whirlwind week!  Heavens, what a 10 months we have had getting ready for this very day!  She was sooo ready and happy to be on her way!  Love you Morgan Oliphant!
